I want to tell people that I can offer them refurbished computer towers. Basically,

I carry refurbished towers with me and if someone has a tower that is not repairable, too

old to upgrade, or just wants to be up and running that same day, then I can provide

them with a rebuilt tower. I call this my “tower swap program.” The “tower swap

program” includes data transfer (if possible), and reconfiguring their internet connection

and printer. Another big advantage, if you are weary of “Windows 7,” is the ability to stay

with Windows XP. I carry all different qualities of towers so I can meet people’s

technical needs while trying to tailor the options to fit their budget. Of course if they

prefer, I can repair their towers.

Microsoft discontinued Windows Vista and released their new operating system

called “Windows 7.” Vista was less than 3 years old when it was put on the shelf

for good. This leaves people with Windows XP and Windows Vista with a question....

What do I do now. Well, here’s an answer..... If you have Windows XP you will want to

maintain this operating system for several reasons. One, is because Microsoft

has extended their support of XP until April 2014. That is huge because they will

continue to add to the security of XP with patches and service packs. Two, they pulled

Vista and there is no upgrade from XP to Windows 7. This means you will lose all your

Programs and settings to change over to Windows 7. Three, with Windows 7 you

may run into compatibility issues. Software programs or hardware, such as printers

and scanners, may not work properly or at all. Now, if you have Vista, you

need to decide to either stay with Vista or upgrade to Windows 7.

Why Buy New When  You Can Upgrade and Save Hundreds!

It amazes me how often old computers are discarded without having them evaluated.

In a lot of cases, a new computer is purchased when the old one could have been

repaired and/or upgraded and it would have performed as well as a new one for hundreds

of dollars less. With my service you can’t lose. If I can’t fix it, there’s no charge. And if

it’s not repairable, and you have to have a computer, I sell rebuilt towers and new Dell
